The crew at Alden Insulation Dallas isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. It’s a small, steady group of installers and coordinators who show up in uniform, answer to background checks, and work under The Garrison Standard every single day. We’re independently owned and operated, but the playbook comes from a company that’s been doing this since 2002. Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been running attic jobs in Dallas for eleven years, the last five with Alden. He’s the one who figures out why a house on one side of a street runs ten degrees hotter than the house on the other side, and he usually has the answer before he’s off the ladder. His specialty is blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, and he knows Owens Corning and GreenFiber product specs well enough to quote them from memory. Marcus spent three summers working on his uncle’s ranch near Ennis before getting into insulation. He still drives a truck old enough to vote, and he says the only thing he can’t fix is a turn signal that gives up in August.
Diana R. – Senior Installer
Diana started with insulation removal, which means she’s seen every attic mess Dallas homes can produce: raccoon damage, failed DIY spray foam, insulation that’s been soaking up humidity for two decades. She moved into full installation work four years ago and now handles both removal and new blown-in jobs. Diana is our go-to for Rockwool and Knauf installs, and she’s the one who trains new hires on air sealing before insulation goes in. She grew up in Garland and knows which houses up there still have original 1970s attic conditions. Her post-work ritual is a breakfast taco at a gas station off Buckner. She won’t tell us which one, and we’ve stopped asking.
Sarah P. – Service Coordinator
Sarah is the voice on the phone when you call (940) 748-1726 at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m. She’s not an answering service, and she’s not reading from a script. Sarah has been with Alden for six years and knows the schedule, the crew’s whereabouts, and which attic problems can wait a day versus which need attention now. Before insulation, she worked dispatch for an HVAC company in Plano. That background shows when she asks the right questions about your house: age, square footage, whether you’re cooling the whole street. She answers calls live, 24/7, because that’s part of how we operate. No voicemail, no callback queuing. Sarah picks up.
Devin W. – Apprentice
Devin joined us two years ago, and he’s the reason we don’t cut corners on training. Marcus and Diana both worked with him, and both say the same thing: he asks a lot of questions, writes things down, and doesn’t pretend to know what he hasn’t seen yet. Devin handles prep work, material staging, and most of the cleanup. He’s learning R-value calculations and how different materials perform in Dallas’s humidity and heat. He also runs point on the free second visit work when something needs attention during the 365-Day Done Right Promise window. Off the clock, Devin is rebuilding a ’68 Ford in his garage. The irony of a car guy working in insulation isn’t lost on any of us.
